Samsung will soon launch its new mid-range smartphones, the Galaxy A52 and the Galaxy A72. Both smartphones will be available in 4G and 5G variants, and their design and specifications were leaked a few days ago. We had exclusively reported earlier this month that they will feature 90Hz/120Hz Super AMOLED displays.
A new press render of the Galaxy A52 5G was published by leakster Evan Blass on Voice, confirming that the phone will be water-resistant. We can independently confirm that the upcoming smartphone has an IP67 rating, which means that it is dust and water-resistant. The report also states that the Galaxy A52 5G will be launched alongside the Galaxy A72 5G. The Galaxy A52 5G will reportedly be available in four colors: Awesome Black, Awesome White, Awesome Violet, and Awesome Blue. We can't confirm if the 4G variant of the Galaxy A52 has an IP67 rating as well.
The Galaxy A52 features a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with Full HD+ resolution. The 4G variant of the phone has a 90Hz display and a Snapdragon 720G processor, while the 5G version features a 120Hz display and a Snapdragon 750G processor. Other features include Android 11 (with One UI 3.1), a 32MP selfie camera, a 64MP quad-camera setup at the rear, 6GB/8GB RAM, 128GB/256GB storage, a microSD card slot, and a 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast charging.
