Samsung is continuing the process of releasing the newest security update for the year 2024. After the Galaxy A34 and the Galaxy S23 FE, the South Korean firm has released the new security update to the Galaxy A52 5G. The phone had received the update in the US, and it is now getting the update in European countries.
The new security update for the Galaxy A52 5G comes with firmware version A526BXXS6FXA1. The update is now available in Austria, Baltic, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, and the UK. It includes the January 2024 security patch, and it fixes around 75 security flaws that were found in the previous versions of the software.
The update doesn't bring any new features or performance enhancements. If you have a Galaxy A52 5G and if you live in any of the countries mentioned above, you can check for the new update by navigating to Settings » Software update » Download and install on your smartphone. You can also download the new firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.
Samsung launched the Galaxy A52 5G in early 2021 with Android 11 onboard. The phone received the Android 12 update in late 2021, the Android 12 update in late 2022, and the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update a few weeks ago.
