Galaxy A52 5G gets May 2024 security update in the US

Samsung has released a new software update for the Galaxy A52 5G in the United States. It brings the May 2024 security patch to the phone which fixes 45 security issues.

Samsung is rolling out the latest software update to the carrier-locked and as well as carrier-unlocked variants of the smartphone in the region, which have model numbers SM-A526U and SM-A526U1. The software update changes the firmware version of these variants to A526USQSDGXE2 and A526U1UESDGXE2.

To get the new firmware on your Galaxy A52 5G, go to Settings » Software update » Download and install. You can also download the new firmware from our database and install it manually. Last week, Samsung rolled out the same security patch to the variant of the Galaxy A52 that it sells in Europe (SM-A526B).
