The latest software update for the Galaxy A52 5G's unlocked version bumps up its firmware version to A526U1UES7EWC1 in the US. The update brings the March 2023 security patch that fixes over 50 security vulnerabilities, and some of those were quite risky. The new software is available on all carrier networks in the country, including AT&T, Bluegrass Cellular, Cellular South, Comcast, Cricket, C-Spire, Dish, Metro PCS, Sprint, T-Mobile, US Cellular, Verizon, and Xfinity Mobile.

If you are a Galaxy A52 5G user in the US with an unlocked unit, you can download the new software update right away. To do that, you need to navigate to Settings » Software update on your phone and tap Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.

Samsung launched the Galaxy A52 5G in early 2021 with Android 11 onboard. The smartphone received the Android 12 update in late 2021 and the Android 13 update in late 2022. A few weeks ago, the smartphone received the One UI 5.1 update, and the Android 14-based One UI 6 update could be its last major software update.
