Samsung is among the first brands to release new security updates. After releasing the April 2024 security update to some of its high-end and mid-range phones, the company has released a new security update to the Galaxy A52.
April 2024 security update is now available for Galaxy A52
The newest software update is now available for the Galaxy A52. It is available in Russia with firmware version A525FXXS6EXC7 and in Kazakhstan with firmware version A525FXXS6EXC9. It's a relatively small update and only brings the April 2024 security patch to the smartphone that fixes a few dozen security vulnerabilities.
If you have a Galaxy A52 and live in Kazakhstan or Russia, you can install the new update on your phone now. To do that, open the Settings app, navigate to Software update, and tap Download and install. Alternatively, you can download the appropriate firmware version for your phone and region from our database and flash it manually.
Samsung launched the Galaxy A52 in 2021 with Android 11 onboard. The phone received the Android 12 update in late 2021, the Android 13 update in late 2022, and the Android 14 update in late 2023. It will likely get the One UI 6.1 update in the next few months. You can watch One UI 6.1 features in our in-depth video below.
