A handful of Galaxy S devices, new and old, have already received the March 2022 security patch, and now Samsung has expanded its scope to include the Galaxy A52.
The smartphone in question is now getting a new firmware update and the latest security patch in regions including Brazil, Panama, Bolivia, Trinidad and Tobago, and Paraguay. Other regions will probably follow shortly, so make sure to keep an eye out for update notifications and our firmware news section.
The update has firmware version A525xUBS4BVB2. Galaxy A52 users can download this latest release OTA by opening the Settings app on their phones and accessing the Software update menu. Alternatively, they can download the update manually from the firmware section on our website and use Samsung's official Odin tool to install the package manually.
Samsung detailed the March 2022 security patch a few days ago, and it's supposed to address over 50 vulnerabilities affecting Android OS and Samsung software.
