Samsung has released a new software update for the Galaxy A52. This update doesn't bring new features but makes the device more secure. While the update is only available in Asian and European countries right now, it will soon expand to more regions.
Galaxy A52 gets October 2024 security update in Asia, Europe
A new software update is now available for the Galaxy A52. It comes with firmware version A525FXXS9FXJ1 and brings the October 2024 security patch that fixes 42 security vulnerabilities found in the previous software. The update is currently available in the countries listed below.

If you have a Galaxy A52 and live in any of the countries mentioned above, you can now check for the new update. To do that, you have to open the Settings app, navigate to Software update, and tap Download and install. You can also use the manual firmware flashing method, and to follow that, you need to download the new firmware file from our database and use the Odin tool.
The Galaxy A52 has already received its last Android OS and One UI update, and it won't receive new features in the future. The Galaxy A52 was launched in early 2021 with Android 11 onboard. The mid-range phone received the Android 12 update in late 2021, the Android 13 update in late 2022, and the Android 14 update at the end of last year. The phone also received the One UI 6.1 update in early 2024. It won't get One UI updates in the future.
