Earlier today, Samsung released the December 2021 security update to the Galaxy A52s 5G. Now, the South Korean firm has released the new security patch to the Galaxy A52 and the Galaxy XCover Pro. The Galaxy A52 5G is yet to receive the new security patch.
The latest software update for the Galaxy A52 comes with firmware version A525FXXS4AUL2, and it is available in New Zealand. The Galaxy XCover Pro's new update comes with firmware version G715FNXXS9CUL2, and it is rolling out in Poland and Switzerland. The Galaxy A52 and the Galaxy XCover Pro will get these updates in more markets over the next few days.
Samsung had detailed its December 2021 security patch on its website and listed dozens of vulnerabilities that got fixed. The new update might also bring device stability improvements and general bug fixes.
If you are a Galaxy A52 or Galaxy XCover Pro user in the regions mentioned above, you can check for the latest update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the appropriate firmware from our firmware database and flash your phone manually using a Windows computer.
