The Galaxy A52s, which was launched as a powerful alternative to the Galaxy A52, has received its third biggest software update: Android 14-based One UI 6.0. The higher mid-range smartphone was launched in mid-2021 with Android 11 onboard and has since then received Android 12, Android 13, and Android 14 updates.
Galaxy A52s 5G finally gets Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update in India
The Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update for the Galaxy A52s 5G is now available in India. The update comes with firmware version A528BXXU5FWK4, which has a download size of around 2.32GB. It includes the November 2023 security patch that fixes around 75 security flaws discovered in the previous software version. The update could be released in more countries soon.
If you have a Galaxy A52s 5G user in India, you can now check for a major new update. To do that, navigate to Settings » Software update and tap Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our database and flash it manually. You would also need a PC running featuring the Odin tool and running a Windows operating system.
Galaxy A52s Android 14 (One UI 6.0) features
One UI 6.0 brings dozens of new features and design improvements to the Galaxy A52s 5G. The new software introduced a brand-new Quick Panel layout, a new font, a new emoji design language, a new media player widget in the notifications area with a waveform animation, and a slightly tweaked notifications UI. Notifications can be sorted by time, and the Settings app now has a separate Battery section.
Samsung has also improved all the stock apps, including the camera app, which features a simpler design. The photo editor offers unlimited edits with redo and undo options. It also offers the ability to clip subjects from an image and save it to the Samsung Keyboard so they can be used as stickers in supported apps. The built-in video editor is now named Video Studio, and it supports drafts. You can view all the other features in the video above.
