Samsung started rolling out the March 2022 security update to some of its phones three weeks ago. Until now, the Galaxy A52, Galaxy S9, Galaxy S10 Lite, Galaxy S21, and the Galaxy S22 have received the new security patch. Now, the South Korean firm has released the update to the Galaxy A52s 5G.
The latest software update for the Galaxy A52s 5G, which comes with firmware version A528BXXS1BVC2, is now available in Europe. As of now, the update is rolling out in Austria, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Nordic countries, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, South-East Europe, Spain, Switzerland, the Baltic region, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, and the UK.
The update includes the March 2022 security update that fixes more than 50 privacy and security-related vulnerabilities, as explained in Samsung's documentation. The new software might also include device stability improvements and general bug fixes.
If you are a Galaxy A52s 5G user in Europe, you can now check for the new update by heading over to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually. Don't forget to backup your important data, though.
