Samsung's once-beloved Galaxy A52s is getting a new firmware update. And as you may have suspected, this new release is all about the March 2023 security patch.
The update carries firmware version A528BXXS2EWB7 and is now available in over half a dozen markets, including Paraguay, Colombia, Uruguay, Argentina, Guatemala, Bolivia, Mexico, and Peru. More regions should join the party soon.
The March 2023 security patch fixes numerous issues, including a few nasty zero-day vulnerabilities. But luckily for Galaxy A52s owners, they don't have to worry about these latest security issues, as they mainly concern Exynos chipsets. And as you all know, the Galaxy A52s is powered by the Snapdragon 778G SoC.
The firmware number confirms that Samsung hasn't peppered the latest update with any new One UI features, and it's mostly about improving security, which is always a welcome feature.
Galaxy A52s users can update their phones once they receive the notification, or they can attempt to trigger the process manually by accessing Settings, going to “Software update,” and tapping “Download and install.” If you prefer manual updates over a Windows PC, you can download the latest official firmware files from our website.
