Samsung has switched its focus to mid-range devices after releasing the May 2022 security update to its high-end phones and tablets. The Galaxy A52s 5G has now started getting the May 2022 security update in various European countries.
The latest software update for the Galaxy A52s 5G comes with firmware version A528BXXU1CVE1. It brings the May 2022 security patch that fixes dozens of privacy and security vulnerabilities. It also improves the system's performance and stability.
The update is currently rolling out in Switzerland, the Nordic countries, France, Romania, Poland, Luxembourg, Germany, Portugal, Austria, Bulgaria, Greece, Spain, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Southeast Europe, Baltic, Italy, Slovenia, Hungary, Slovakia, and the UK.
If you are a Galaxy A52s 5G user in any of the European countries mentioned above, you can download and install the latest update. You can do that by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our database and flash it manually.
The Galaxy A52s 5G was launched in mid-2021 with Android 11-based One UI 3.1. The phone received the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 update earlier this year. A few weeks ago, it received the One UI 4.1 update with dozens of new features.
