Last year, Samsung introduced the AI-powered Galaxy Enhance-X app to its Galaxy S series smartphones. Later, the app was made compatible with Galaxy Note and Galaxy Z series devices. The company had also promised to make the image editing app available on mid-range smartphones, and we now have more information about that.
Galaxy A53, Galaxy A54 can run Galaxy Enhance-X image editing app after One UI 6.0 update
Samsung has revealed that the Galaxy Enhance-X app will be available for the Galaxy A53 and the Galaxy A54 with the One UI 6.0 update. Since the Galaxy A53 and the Galaxy A54 have already received the One UI 6.0 beta update, it is likely that they will get the stable Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update sometime in November or December, and with that update, they will be able to run the Galaxy Enhance-X app.
The Galaxy Enhance-X app offers several basic and advanced image editing features. With the Sky Guide feature, it lets you identify constellations, stars, galaxies, nebulas, and clusters in your images when you capture starry night shots. It also removes blurriness from images if you've captured those images with fingerprints in the camera lens. It can also create slow-motion videos from normal videos by generating extra frames.
The image editing app from Samsung can also use short videos (60 seconds or less) to create long-exposure images, such as images of roads with trailing vehicle lights. It can also use AI to analyze motion images and videos on the phone to create photos and videos that are similar to the Single Take mode available on several Samsung phones.
