Samsung is swiftly rolling out its latest security update to various smartphones. After the Galaxy S20 FE, Galaxy S21, Galaxy S22, and the Galaxy Note 20, the South Korean firm has released the July 2022 security update to the Galaxy A53. The update is available in South Korea, but more countries will get it soon.

The latest software update for the Galaxy A53 comes with firmware version A536NKSU2AVFA. It brings the July 2022 security patch that fixes over 50 security vulnerabilities in Galaxy smartphones and tablets. It might also include general bug fixes and device stability improvements.

If you are a Galaxy A53 user in South Korea, you can download and install the new software update by heading over to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our database and flash it manually.

Samsung launched the Galaxy A53 alongside the Galaxy A33 and the Galaxy A73 earlier this year, with Android 12 on board. The smartphone was promised four major Android OS updates and up to five years of security updates.
