July 2024 security update hits Galaxy A53

The Galaxy A53's international as well as carrier-locked and carrier-unlocked variants for the United States are getting a new software update. It brings the July 2024 security patch to the smartphone, which fixes 58 security issues.Summarize in one-click with Galaxy AI

The new software update changes firmware versions of the international, carrier-locked, and carrier-unlocked variants to A536EXXSBEXF3, A536USQSBEXG4, and A536U1UESAEXG2 respectively.

You can download the latest security update by going to Settings » Software update » Download and install. You can also download the new firmware for your device from our database and install it manually.
