Samsung is quickly pacing up the release of its March 2023 security update to Galaxy smartphones and tablets. The company's mid-range smartphones have started getting the new software as well. Now, the Galaxy A53 5G has started getting the March 2023 update in some countries.
The latest software update for the Galaxy A53 5G comes with firmware version A536BXXS5CWB6 in Europe. Some European countries have already received the update, while others will get it within the next few days. In the US, the carrier-locked version of the smartphone has started getting the update with firmware version A536USQS4CWC2 in Comcast's network.
If you are a Galaxy A53 5G user in any of the countries mentioned above, you can install the newest software update on your right away. You can do that by heading over to Settings » Software update on your device and then tapping Download and install. You can also download the appropriate firmware from our firmware database and flash it manually.
Samsung launched the Galaxy A53 5G early last year with Android 12-based One UI 4 out of the box. The smartphone received the Android 13-based One UI 5 update last month and is scheduled to get the Android 14 update towards the end of this year.
