Last week, Samsung released its new security update to the Galaxy A53 in Europe and the USA. Now, it has released the September 2024 security update to the Galaxy A53 in more countries and regions, including Asia and Europe.
Galaxy A53 gets September 2024 security update in Asia and Europe
The new software update is now available for the Galaxy A53 in Asian and European countries. The update comes bearing firmware version A536EXXSBEXI1 and is available in the countries listed below. It brings the September 2024 security patch that fixes 67 security vulnerabilities discovered in the previous software version.

If you have a Galaxy A53 and live in any of the countries mentioned above, you can check for the new update by navigating to Settings » Software update » Download and install. The Galaxy A53 was launched two years ago with Android 12 onboard. The mid-range phone received the Android 13 update in late 2022 and the Android 14 update in late 2023. In the next couple of months, the phone is expected to get the Android 15 (One UI 7.0) update. Next year, it will get its last major Android OS update, Android 16.
