Since they were released, the Galaxy A51 and the Galaxy A52 have been Samsung's best-selling smartphones. With the Galaxy A53, the company will try to continue its success. The upcoming smartphone's camera and battery specifications have already been revealed. Now, a new report claims that there will be two variants of the Galaxy A53.
According to GalaxyClub, Samsung will launch two versions of the Galaxy A53, and they will have model numbers SM-A536B and SM-A536E. The SM-A536B will be launched in European countries, while the SM-A536E will be launched in India, the Middle East, North Africa, and some other South Asian markets. These models might use different processors, but it is still unclear which version will use the Exynos chipset.
A few days ago, the US variant of the Galaxy A53 with model number SM-A536U was spotted in Geekbench's database, featuring the Exynos 1200 chipset. The Galaxy A52 faced supply chain issues earlier this year due to the global chip shortage, and the company had to launch the Galaxy A52s 5G with the Snapdragon 778G chipset to cope with supply issues.
In 2022, the company might use two different chipsets for the Galaxy A53. One of its variants may feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. Moreover, Samsung might not launch a 4G-only variant of the Galaxy A53.
The Galaxy A53 is expected to feature a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone has a 64MP primary camera, stereo speakers, an IP rating, an in-display fingerprint reader, and a 5,000mAh battery. The smartphone might be launched in Q1 or Q2 of 2022.
