The November 2023 update is making its way to two more mid-range Samsung phones, the Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A52, this week. These updates come a few days after the Galaxy A53 was updated with the November security patch.
Like the November updates for most other Galaxy smartphones, the ones released for the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A54 come with only security enhancements, as Samsung is leaving the exciting stuff for the Android 14 and One UI 6.0 update that is in development for a slew of Galaxy devices and can be tested by users of some devices through Samsung's One UI beta program.
The Galaxy A52 update comes with a firmware version ending in DWK1 and is available in Russia and a handful of European markets; the update is not available for the Galaxy A52 5G or Galaxy A52s yet. The Galaxy A54 update comes with firmware version AWJ4 and is rolling out in some South American markets.
To download the latest update on your Galaxy A54 or Galaxy A52, open the phone's Settings app, select Software update, then tap Download and install. Another way to do it is to download the latest firmware from our archive and use a Windows PC and Samsung's Odin tool to flash it on your phone over a USB-C cable.
