Surprise: Samsung has released the stable Android 14 and One UI 6 update for the Galaxy A54 in the US! At least one Redditor reported getting the update on their Galaxy A54 a few hours back, and while it initially seemed like an accidental release, Android 14 firmware going up on Samsung's servers confirms that the rollout really has kicked off.
At the time of this writing, the Galaxy A54 is receiving the update on AT&T's network. No other carrier seems to have released it yet, and the same goes for the Galaxy A54s sold in other markets. However, it shouldn't be long before the update starts rolling out more widely to both Android 13 users and those who are enrolled in the Android 14/One UI 6 beta program.
The Galaxy A54 is the first mid-range phone from Samsung and its third device overall (or seventh, if you count each Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S22 model separately) to get the stable One UI 6 update, and there's a good chance more eligible devices will have received the update by the end of this month.
To download the Android 14/One UI 6 update on your Galaxy A54, open the phone's Settings app, select Software update, and tap Download and install. You can also download the full-sized Android 14 firmware from our library and install it on the phone using a Windows PC and a USB-C cable.
