As owners of Galaxy smartphones launched before 2025 endure a torturous wait for the One UI 7 update, Samsung has announced three new phones that come with the latest version of Android and One UI preloaded.

The Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36, and Galaxy A26 join the Galaxy S25 series and a couple of budget phones, the Galaxy A06 5G and Galaxy F06 5G, on the list of Samsung devices that run Android 15 and One UI 7 out of the box.

Galaxy A56 is one of many Samsung phones shipping with One UI 7

The three devices come with most of the new features and changes introduced in One UI 7, such as Now Bar, a more customizable quick panel, a vertical app drawer, redesigned camera interface, and more.

The Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36 support Circle to Search, a feature that is technically a part of the Galaxy AI experience but is designed by Google and isn't exclusive to Samsung. Samsung does say that the two phones support intelligent features like Object Eraser, but it's unclear if they work the same as they do on Samsung's flagship phones.

The three new Galaxy A series phones are eligible for six years of Android, One UI, and security updates. The enterprise edition of the Galaxy A56 will receive updates for seven years. These devices should also support seamless updates, enabling the installation of updates in the background, though we haven’t been able to confirm that at the time of writing.
