Samsung is developing three A-series smartphones, the Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36, and the Galaxy A26. There have been many leaks about three devices which have shed light on their design (1, 2, 3), specifications, and launch timeline. Today, we have a new piece of information about three phones which confirms the charging speed of the first two devices, which was leaked previously, and suggests that Samsung might launch all three devices very soon.
TUV Rheinland has certified the Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36, and Galaxy A26 (via TheTechOutlook). It reveals that the Galaxy A56 and the Galaxy A36 support charging speed at 10V and 4.5A and the Galaxy A26 supports charging speed at 9V and 2.77A. That means the first two devices can charge at up to 45W and the third one can charge at up to 25W.
Samsung usually gets its smartphones certified by TUV Rheinland a couple of months before launching them. Considering that, we think that the three devices might hit the market soon. The company had launched the Galaxy A55 and the Galaxy A35 on 11 March 2025. There is only a month and a half for them to turn a year old. Samsung usually launches a new version of a smartphone when it is around a year old. Considering that, we think the Galaxy A56 and the Galaxy A36 might go official within a month or two.
