Samsung's been doing a great job at adding more and more phones and tablets to the list of devices that have received the Android 12 and One UI 4 update. The company's already updated a bunch of mid-range devices in addition to all the eligible flagships, the Galaxy A71 5G being one of them, and today, at least one carrier has released the update for the A71 5G in the USA.
The Galaxy A71 5G is receiving the Android 12 and One UI 4 update on devices locked to US Cellular, and other carriers should follow soon. As with other devices, the A71 is likely to be getting One UI 4.1 instead of One UI 4.0, although we're not entirely sure at this point. The firmware version accompanying the update is A716USQU6EVD3; the April 2022 security patch is included.
There's lots to get excited about in Android 12 and One UI 4.x, and our videos below detail all of the major new features you need to know about so we would recommend taking a look. As usual, updating your phone can be done by manually downloading the new firmware from its Settings » Software update screen or just waiting for the relevant notification to show up. Our firmware archive also has the necessary files you need for a manual upgrade using a Windows PC.
