The Galaxy A71 is the latest Samsung smartphone to get the August 2021 security update. The company had started rolling out the latest security patch in the last week of July, and the Galaxy A52 was the first Samsung phone to get it. Later, the update was expanded to various high-end and mid-range smartphones.

Samsung has released a new software update to the Galaxy A71 in Poland. The update carries firmware version A715FXXU6BUH1 and includes the August 2021 security patch. Apart from fixing 40 security and privacy-related vulnerabilities, the update might also improve device stability and fix other bugs. The new update could expand to more markets over the next few days.

If you are a Galaxy A71 user in Poland, you might have received a notification of the new software update. If you haven't received the notification, you can check for the update manually by navigating to Settings » Software updates and tapping on Download and install. You can also flash the new firmware manually after downloading the latest firmware file from our firmware database.

Samsung had launched the Galaxy A71 last year with Android 10-based One UI 2. Earlier this year, the company rolled out the Android 11-based One UI 3.1 update to the smartphone. The device will receive at least one more Android OS update, probably early next year.
