Galaxy A73 gets more secure with May 2024 update

Samsung is rolling out a new software update to the international variant of the Galaxy A73 5G. It changes the phone’s firmware version to A736BXXS8EXE4 and brings the May 2024 security patch, which offers fixes for 45 security issues. At the moment, the update is live in many countries, including Asia, Central and South America, and the Middle East.

The easiest and safest way to get the May 2024 security patch on your Galaxy A73 5G is to go to Settings » Software updates and click on Download and install. The other way to get the update is to download the new firmware file and install it manually using a Windows PC and Odin. The new firmware file is available in our database for you to download.
