The Galaxy A82 5G (SM-A826S) was found listed in Bluetooth SIG's database as it received the certification earlier today. The phone features Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity with LE (Low Energy) compatibility. Not much else is mentioned in the certification document, so we will have to wait for more information to arrive in the coming weeks to know more about the smartphone. The phone will come equipped with the Snapdragon 855+ processor, which is a 2-year-old flagship from Qualcomm. It will also come with Android 11 out of the box.
It is still not clear if the Galaxy A82 will be available in a 4G LTE variant as well. Since the Galaxy A52 and the Galaxy A72 feature high-refresh-rate Super AMOLED screens and quad-camera setups, we can expect those features to be present in the Galaxy A82 5G as well. It could even feature an improved camera, but it remains to be seen how it affects the sales of devices like the Galaxy S20 FE.
