Earlier this year, Samsung unveiled Galaxy AI, a suite of AI-powered features, with the Galaxy S24. Those AI features were released to more high-end devices a few weeks later. Samsung has now promised to release Galaxy AI on 200 million devices this year.
Release of Galaxy AI on 200 million devices by the end of 2024
At today's Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung announced that Galaxy AI will be available on 200 million devices globally by the end of 2024.
Since Galaxy AI has already been released to existing compatible devices, we think Samsung is counting possible sales figures for the Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Buds 3, Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, Galaxy Watch 7, and Galaxy Watch Ultra.

Galaxy AI was released to several high-end (Galaxy S, Galaxy Tab S, and Galaxy Z series) phones and tablets with the One UI 6.1 update a few months ago. Samsung will add more features to Galaxy AI with the One UI 6.1.1 update for compatible foldable phones and tablets. That update could also be released to Galaxy S series phones in the next few weeks or months.
Some of the new Galaxy AI features that Samsung showcased at today's event include AI-powered reply suggestions for messaging apps and Drawing Assist in Samsung Notes. Drawing Assist is the ability to draw a rough sketch on an existing image to turn that drawing into a realistic picture.
