Samsung has announced two new laptops—Galaxy Book 2 and Galaxy Book 2 360—at MWC 2022 in Barcelona, Spain. These new laptops join the Galaxy Book 2 Pro and the Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 that were unveiled at the company's virtual event a few hours ago.

The Galaxy Book 2 has a 15.6-inch Full HD LCD display and a conventional form factor. The Galaxy Book 2 360 has a 13.3-inch Super AMOLED display with VESA HDR 500 and a 2-in-1 convertible form factor.

Galaxy Book 2, Book 2 360 use Intel's 12th Gen. CPUs, up to 1TB storage

Both laptops feature Intel's 12th Gen. Core i3/Core i5/Core i7 processors. Some lower-priced variants also feature Intel's Celeron and Pentium processors. Both laptops feature 8GB/16GB RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB SSD storage. The lower-end variants of the Galaxy Book 2 also feature a hard disk drive. Both devices feature a microSD card slot. While the Galaxy Book 2 360 exclusively uses Intel's Iris Xe or Intel UHD integrated graphics, depending on the variant, the Galaxy Book 2 can be customized with Intel's first discrete GPU (ARC).

Samsung's new laptops feature a backlit keyboard, Windows Precision trackpad, 720p webcam with the Auto Framing feature, fingerprint reader, and 1.5W/2W stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. The Galaxy Book 2 is powered by a 43Whr/54Whr battery, while the Galaxy Book 2 360 comes packed with a 61.1Whr battery. Both laptops come in Graphite and Silver color variants.

One UI Book 4, various connectivity features are present, too

The Galaxy Book 2 and the Galaxy Book 2 360 run Windows 11 out of the box. They also feature Samsung's One UI Book 4, which offers various Galaxy ecosystem features like Bixby, Link Sharing, Private Share, Quick Share, Samsung Gallery, Samsung Notes, Smart Switch, SmartThings, and Second Screen.

Both laptops support up to 65W USB Type-C charging, and they come bundled with USB PD chargers. Connectivity features of the new laptops include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C ports, USB Type-A port, HDMI, and a headphone+mic combo jack. Only the Galaxy Book 2 360 comes with Wi-Fi 6E and a Thunderbolt 4 port.

Samsung hasn't announced the pricing or availability of its new laptops, but we expect them to go on sale in Q2 2022 in select markets.
