Samsung is finally releasing its premium Galaxy Book 3 laptops in Brazil. So far, the lineup consists of the Galaxy Book 3 360 and Galaxy Book 3 Ultra, but Samsung says other models in the series “will be announced soon.”

For now, prospective buyers in Brazil can pick from the 13.3-inch Galaxy Book 3 360 or the 15.6-inch 360 variants. Or if they want to experience NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 graphics in a notebook form factor, they can go for the top-of-the-line Galaxy Book 3 Ultra.

The 13.3-inch Galaxy Book 3 360 can be purchased in one of two configurations. The variant powered by a 13th Gen Intel Core i5-1335U CPU, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage costs BRL 7,904 ($1,563), while the model with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage costs BRL 8,892 ($1,758).

The 15.5-inch Galaxy Book 3 360 features an Intel Core i7-1360P CPU and either 16GB of RAM + 512GB of storage or 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. It costs BRL 9.881 ($1,954) and BRL 11,363 ($2,247), respectively.

And last but not least, the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra features an Intel Core i7-13900H, 32GB of RAM, 1TB of storage, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 GPU. It costs BRL 18,774 ($3,713).

Samsung says the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra variant powered by an Intel Core i9-13900H CPU and GeForce RTX 4070 graphics will be available in Brazil in the second half of 2023, but it didn't reveal the price or an exact release date.

Buy early and get a free Samsung monitor

To help Galaxy Book 3 buyers create a desktop environment using their new laptops, Samsung is giving away a monitor for free.

Customers buying the Galaxy Book 3 360 before June 18 receive a 24-inch Smart Monitor M5. Meanwhile, people who buy the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra variant before June 18 will get a 27-inch Odyssey G40 monitor free of charge.

The 24-inch Smart Monitor M5 has an LED IPS panel with a maximum refresh rate of 75Hz, a resolution of 1920 x 1080, and can reach 250 nits of brightness. It can double as a smart TV and supports streaming apps such as Netflix, YouTube, Apple, TV, and Prime Video.

The 27-inch Odyssey G40 has a 240Hz refresh rate and 1920 x 1080 resolution. It boasts 400 nits of brightness and a low GTG (gray-to-gray) response time of 1 ms. It's also HDR10-certified and supports Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium. However, it does not have built-in smart TV capabilities.
