The Galaxy Book 4 series was unveiled earlier this year, and there are four models in the lineup. However, Samsung is preparing to launch one more laptop in the series, the Galaxy Book 4 Edge. It is Samsung's first Galaxy Book laptop with the Snapdragon X Elite processor, and its images and specifications have leaked in full.
This laptop can compete with the MacBook Pro in terms of performance and battery life.
Galaxy Book 4 Edge specifications
According to a report from WinFuture, The Galaxy Book 4 Edge has two screen size variants: 14-inch and 16-inch. The one with a 16-inch screen is called the Galaxy Book 4 Edge Pro, and it features the Snapdragon X Elite chip, a full-sized keyboard, some extra ports, and a bigger battery. Both laptops feature Super AMOLED screens with 3K resolution and 400 nits brightness. They have stereo speakers and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The smaller of the two has a lower-end chip in the Snapdragon X lineup. It has two USB Type-C (probably USB 4.0) ports, an HDMI port, and a tenkeyless keyboard. The bigger model has two USB Type-C ports (probably USB 4.0), a USB Type-A port, an HDMI port, and a microSD card slot. Both laptops appear to feature backlight keys and large trackpads.
The storage space on these laptops isn't clear at the moment, and the webcam configuration is also unknown. More information could be released next week (May 20) when Microsoft announces them at a dedicated event. These laptops are expected to have exceptional power efficiency, and the battery life could be similar to that of the latest MacBooks from Apple.

Both laptops run Windows 11, have a dedicated Microsoft Copilot key, and come in silver color. According to the report, the Galaxy Book 4 Edge will likely start at $1,800, and the bigger one will likely be pricier. It isn't clear if there will be variants of these laptops with higher RAM and storage.
