Samsung launches Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 in one more country

Last month, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360, its first laptop equipped with Intel's Lunar Lake CPU, and it was made available for pre-order in the USA. Now, the company has announced the launch of the new laptop in its home country, South Korea. Let us have a look at its features and pricing.

Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 launched in South Korea

The Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 will be available in two variants, priced at KRW 2,426,000 ($1,780) and KRW 2,576,000 ($1,890), in South Korea. It will be available for pre-order starting from October 17 and will be available for purchase starting October 28.

Those who buy the laptop from October 28 to November 3 will get a transparent pouch, a Microsoft 365 subscription, and a 12-month subscription to Samsung Care Plus. Those who pre-order the Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 will get Naver Pay Point coupons worth KRW 30,000 ($22). Trade-in benefits include up to KRW 250,000 ($183) discount when upgrading from an existing laptop.

Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 features

The Galaxy Book 5 Pro has a 16-inch touchscreen Dynamic AMOLED 2x screen with WQXGA+ resolution, a 120Hz variable refresh rate, 500 nits peak brightness, and HDR. It has a 360-degree hinge that can turn the laptop into a tablet PC. It comes with an S Pen stylus for drawing and writing. Samsung has equipped the laptop with a quad-speaker setup with two 3.3W tweeters and two 5W woofers.

It comes in Intel Core Ultra 5 (Series 2) and the Intel Core Ultra 7 (Series 2) chip options. It has 47 TOPS of AI performance, thanks to its Intel Lunar Lake CPU. It has 16GB and 32GB RAM variants. It runs Windows 11 operating system with Copilot+ features.

It has a full-sized backlit keyboard and a large multitouch Windows Precision-compatible trackpad. The laptop has a 2MP webcam and a fingerprint reader. Its connectivity features include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, two Thunderbolt 4 ports (USB Type-C), one HDMI 2.1 port, a USB 3.2 Type-A port, and a 3.5mm headphone port. It has a microSD card slot for storage expansion.

Samsung says the Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360's 76Wh battery can last up to 25 hours on a single charge.
