Samsung's latest earbuds, the Galaxy Buds 2, were launched in the second half of 2021. The company hasn't launched a successor yet. It's expected that a new pair of wireless earbuds will be launched later this year.
Quite a lot of people have purchased the Galaxy Buds 2 and with good reason. They're one of the best Samsung earbuds ever released. If you got yourself a pair, you might want to keep an eye out for its latest firmware update.
Galaxy Buds 2 are getting a new update
Samsung is rolling out a new firmware update for the Galaxy Buds 2 today. It bears firmware version R177XXU0AVC1. As you'd expect, it's a tiny update, and it measures it at just 2.99 MB.
The changelog reveals that there's not much in the way of new features that this update brings to the table. It only mentions that the update improves the system's stability and reliability. This is a far cry from the last update that was released for the Galaxy Buds 2 a few months ago. That release brought a couple of new features.
Samsung is yet to confirm when it's going to launch the successor to the Galaxy Buds 2. Reports suggest that it may not be out until the second half of this year. We may see them being launched alongside Samsung's new foldable smartphones in August or September.
