Just days before the official unveiling of the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, the first image of the upcoming flagship wireless earbuds from Samsung has leaked. The Galaxy Buds 3 Pro appears to have a completely new design with a stem, similar to Apple's AirPods lineup.
Galaxy Buds 3 Pro has a stem, similar to AirPods
Reliable tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks) has published the first image of what appears to be the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. It brings a completely revamped design to the Galaxy Buds series. It now appears to have a stem, similar to the AirPods and the AirPods Pro. The Galaxy Buds 3 Pro can be seen in the image in silver. You can also see silicone ear tips in the leaked image.
Although the image is masked with a mosaic pattern (probably to avoid takedown notices from Samsung), the overall design of the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro is visible. A previous report claimed that the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro would have a stem to improve battery life and voice call quality, and it seems that report was accurate.
Leaked Galaxy Buds 3 Pro features and specifications
A previous leak claimed that the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro will have a dual-driver design and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity. It also claimed that the upcoming flagship earbuds from Samsung will have 24-bit 96KHz audio transmission through a high-quality audio codec (likely via Samsung Seamless Codec Hi-Fi).
Samsung seems to have improved the ruggedness of the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, as it features an IP57 rating for dust and water resistance. The earbuds could also feature ‘Blade Lights,' which could be an LED light strip on the outside (slightly visible in the leaked image above). It could also have Adaptive ANC, Adaptive EQ, Ambient Sound, and up to 30 hours of battery life on a single charge.
As a refresher, you can watch our review of the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro in the video.
The Galaxy Buds 3 (non Pro version) could also feature the same design, albeit without the Blade Lights feature. According to the leak, the Galaxy Buds 3 have a single-driver audio setup, Bluetooth 5.4, 24-bit 96KHz audio transmission, and ANC. It lack Adaptive EQ and Ambient Mode. It is expected to feature an IP57 rating and 24-hour battery life on a single charge.
