At today's Galaxy Unpacked event in Paris, Samsung unveiled two new wireless earbuds: Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. These new wireless earbuds will soon be available for pre-order in most countries.

Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro prices

Galaxy Buds 3 and Pro

The Galaxy Buds 3 and the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro are available in silver and white colors. Pre-orders start on July 10, 2024 (today) in most countries and will be available in stores from 24 July 2024.

The Galaxy Buds 3 are priced at €179 in Europe, £159 in the UK, and $179.99 in the US. The Galaxy Buds 3 Pro are priced at €249 in Europe, £219 in the UK, and $249.99 in the US.

What's new with Galaxy Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro?

Samsung's new wireless earbuds have a brand-new design that features stems. The Galaxy Buds 3 have an open-type design (without ear tips), while the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro have an in-ear canal design (with ear tips).

The Galaxy Buds 3 have 11mm drivers, while the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro have a dual-driver setup featuring a 10.5mm dynamic driver and a 6.1mm planar driver.

Both earbuds feature Bluetooth 5.4 with LE Audio, LC3 codec, and Auracast. Samsung has also introduced a new high-quality wireless audio codec called Samsung Seamless Codec Ultra High Quality (SSC UHQ). It offers near-lossless audio transmission.

Both earbuds feature ANC, Adaptive ANC, Adaptive EQ, and a custom equalizer. Samsung is using the Super-Wideband (SW) Call feature and AI to improve call quality.

The Galaxy Buds 3 and the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro have pinch and swipe gestures. Music can also be controlled through voice commands.

Both wireless earbuds have an IP57 rating for dust and water resistance, a USB Type-C port, Qi wireless charging, a pairing button, and a transparent case lid.

The Galaxy Buds 3 have a total battery life of 24 hours, while the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro has a 30-hour battery life.
