After the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra, a new report has leaked Galaxy Buds 3 Pro specs. It also reveals almost all the specifications of the Galaxy Buds 3.
These wireless earbuds are expected to be announced during Samsung's next Galaxy Unpacked event in July 2024.
Galaxy Buds 3 Pro specs reveal something called ‘Blade Lights'
A new report from Android Headlines claims to reveal the features and specifications of the Galaxy Buds 3 and the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. Both upcoming wireless earbuds will feature an IP57 rating, an upgrade over the Galaxy Buds 2's IPX2 rating and the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro's IPX7 rating. It means both earbuds will have some form of dust resistance.
The Galaxy Buds 3 and the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro will come in two colors: Silver and White. The Galaxy Buds 3 has a single-driver audio setup, while the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro will have a dual-drive setup. Both earbuds will reportedly feature a Hi-Res audio codec with support for 24-bit 96KHz audio transmission. They have ANC and Adaptive EQ, but only the Buds 3 Pro will have Adaptive ANC and Ambient Sound.
The Galaxy Buds 3 Pro will have something called ‘Blade Lights.' A previous report claimed that the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro will have a stem design like the AirPods Pro, but it isn't clear if Blade Lights refers to LED lights on the stem. Both earbuds feature 360 Audio (Spatial Audio), Bluetooth 5.4, Buds Auto Switch, and SmartThings Find.
The report claims that the Galaxy Buds 3 will have 6 hours (5 hours with ANC turned on) of audio playback on a single charge and 24 hours of battery life with the case. The Galaxy Buds 3 Pro is said to have up to 7 hours (6 hours with ANC turned on) of audio playback on a single charge and up to 30 hours battery life with the case.

If this information is true, Samsung is bringing improvements to the Galaxy Buds 3 but also removing some features compared to the Galaxy Buds 2. The Galaxy Buds 2 has a dual-drive setup and the Ambient Sound feature, but those features appear to be missing on the Galaxy Buds 3.
It will be interesting to see what Samsung has in store for these earbuds in terms of pricing. At least the South Korean firm seems to be bringing three features from our Galaxy Buds 3 features wishlist.
