Earlier this week, Samsung started rolling out the 360 Audio feature to the Galaxy Buds 2. Now, the company has released it to the Galaxy Buds Live as well. Earlier, the feature was limited to the Galaxy Buds Pro, the company's highest-end wireless earbuds yet.
A new software update to the Galaxy Buds Live has started rolling out with firmware version R180XXU0AVC2. It includes the 360 Audio feature along with improved system reliability and stability. There are no improvements to actual audio and call quality, though.
If you are a Galaxy Buds Live user, you can get the 360 Audio feature by updating your earbuds to the latest software. You can do that by opening the Galaxy Wearable app and navigating to Earbuds settings » Earbuds software update. Before installing the update, don't forget to charge your earbuds by over 50%.
The 360 Audio feature only works while watching videos (streaming and offline), and it only works on Samsung phones. In our usage, we found that the feature doesn't work very reliably, at least with the Galaxy Buds 2. So, don't keep your hopes too high.
