Galaxy Buds On and Galaxy SmartTag 3 go on sale in the US

You can now buy the Galaxy Buds On and the Galaxy SmartTag 3 in the US. The Galaxy Buds On are priced at $229.99, while the Galaxy SmartTag 3 carries a price tag of $29.99. Samsung is also offering a four-pack of the Galaxy SmartTag 3 for $99.99.

Both devices can be purchased from Samsung.com, Samsung Experience Stores, and authorized retailers across the US.

The Galaxy Buds On come only in Black, while the Galaxy SmartTag 3 is available in Black and White.

The Galaxy Buds On are Samsung's first clip-style wireless earbuds. Because they do not block your ear canals, they let ambient sound in so you can stay aware of your surroundings and things happening around you.

They feature TwinBoost Speakers paired with Samsung's Audio Leakage Reduction technology for louder and clearer audio. For voice calls, each earbud includes three microphones and a Voice Pickup Unit (VPU) to isolate your voice and filter out background noise.

The earbuds also introduce Auto Volume under Samsung's Labs section. Additionally, they support Head Gestures, allowing you to shake your head to decline calls, nod to answer them, or listen to notification readouts.

You can also interact directly with Gemini Live by saying, “Hey Google, let's talk live.“

Furthermore, the Galaxy Buds On can record Quick Voice Memos through their microphones and save them alongside text transcriptions, making it easy to capture meeting notes or quick thoughts. It requires a Galaxy AI-supported device with Bixby and Samsung Voice Recorder.

The Galaxy SmartTag 3 is Samsung's third-generation item tracker. It features Bluetooth Channel Sounding and Ultra-Wideband (UWB) connectivity. Through the Compass View, you can pinpoint items from up to 60 meters away under direct line of sight, which is around 3x farther than the Galaxy SmartTag 2's range.

It can be attached to car keys, luggage, backpacks, bikes, or pet collars. From there, you can track them via the Samsung Find network.

You can also configure Place Notifications to receive alerts whenever a tagged item enters or leaves a predefined geofenced area. In addition, you can also look at its seven-day location history.

The Galaxy SmartTag 3 is also compatibile with non-Samsung Android devices as well as iPhones (with select feature limitations). Earlier generations of Galaxy SmartTag worked exclusively with Galaxy phones.
