A few days ago, it was rumored that Samsung's next set of flagship truly wireless earbuds wouldn't be unveiled alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and the Galaxy Z Fold 4. Now, a few more updates about the Galaxy Buds Pro 2 have been revealed.
According to tipster Max Jambor (@MaxJmb), the Galaxy Buds Pro 2 have entered the mass production stage. This means that the wireless earbuds could be announced within a few weeks. Another tipster, SnoopyTech (@_snoopytech_), claimed that Samsung's upcoming wireless earbuds would be launched in three color variants: Zenith Bora Purple, Zenith Graphite, and Zenith White.
It was also reported that the Galaxy Buds Pro 2 could be launched earlier than expected and that the retail listings of the earbuds point towards an early July 2022 launch. If this is true, the Galaxy Buds Pro 2 could end up on store shelves much earlier than the Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Z Fold 4, and the Galaxy Watch 5.
Not much is known about the Galaxy Buds Pro 2, but we expect them to bring a newer design (similar to the Galaxy Buds 2), improved audio quality and ANC performance, and longer battery life. It would also be great if Samsung could improve the 360 Audio feature and auto-switching between Galaxy devices.
