Samsung is planning to launch the Galaxy F04 in India in January 2023 with a price tag of under INR 8,000 (around $97), and it will be sold in the country exclusively through Flipkart, reports 91Mobiles. The publication has also leaked the official teaser images of the device, which reveal the phone's design. Some features of the phone have been revealed along with its pricing.

According to the leaked official teaser images of the device, the Galaxy F04 will have 8GB of RAM, even in the base variant. Since offering 8GB of RAM in a smartphone that costs INR 8,000 is very hard, we assume that Samsung will use its RAM Plus technology in this device to achieve the 8GB RAM figure.

It means that the 8GB RAM in the Galaxy F04 will consist of 4GB of actual RAM and 4GB of virtual RAM. The virtual RAM will be a part of your phone’s internal storage, and it most likely won't be as fast as the actual RAM. That being said, RAM Plus technology will certainly help the phone at multitasking.

Galaxy F04 could be a rebranded Galaxy M04

Typically, Galaxy F-series smartphones are rebranded versions of Galaxy M-series devices, and going by the teaser images, the design of the Galaxy F04 looks precisely like that of the Galaxy M04, including the two cameras on the rear. So, expect the Galaxy F04 to have the same features and specifications as the Galaxy M04.

That means the Galaxy F04 could most likely have a 6.5-inch PLS LCD with HD+ resolution, MediaTek Helio P35 SoC, Android 12 (One UI Core 4.1), a dual-camera setup at the rear with 13MP primary camera and 2MP depth sensor, 5MP front-facing camera, 5,000mAh battery with 15W charging, USB Type-C port, and 4G.
