The base variant, featuring 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, costs INR 9,999 ($115). The 6GB+128GB variant is priced at INR 11,499 (~$133). Samsung is offering an INR 500 cashback for users of Axis and ICICI Bank debit and credit cards.
One UI 7 out of the box is not the only attractive Galaxy F06 feature. The phone is the first in the Galaxy F0x lineup that supports 5G connectivity, with support for 12 5G bands across all of the country's telecom networks.

It is also eligible for four generations of Android OS upgrades and security updates for as many years, which is unmatched by the competition at the F06's price point. Of course, being a budget phone, it doesn't offer any of the Galaxy AI features that are available on Samsung's flagship smartphones.
The F06 also has an interesting design. The back panel has what Samsung is calling the ‘Ripple Glow’ finish that's unlike anything we have seen on other Galaxy smartphones. The phone comes in two colors: Bahama Blue and Lit Violet.
A 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset powers the Galaxy F06 5G. The Dimensity 6300 packs two high-performance Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.4GHz and six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores clocked at 2GHz. It has a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.
A 6.7-inch screen, rated for 800 nits of brightness, covers the front of the device. The display is an LCD panel with a 60Hz refresh rate. It has a 50MP main camera, a 2MP depth camera, and an 8MP selfie camera. There's a 5,000 mAh battery under the hood that charges at 25W with a compatible charger.
The Galaxy F06 is a cheaper version of the Galaxy A06 5G. The A series phone has all the same specs plus a 90Hz display and IP54 certification for protection against water splashes and small quantities of dust. The A06 starts at INR 10,499 ($120).
