Samsung has recently announced the launch of its new Galaxy A-series mid-range smartphones in India, and it plans to launch a new F-series phone soon. The tech giant has now confirmed that the Galaxy F14 5G will debut in India on March 24.
The Galaxy F14 5G has been spotted on India's e-commerce platform Flipkart. The microsite has revealed that the device will be available starting 12 PM on March 24, alongside the imagery of the model and specifications to peruse. The price of the forthcoming smartphone is expected to be in the ₹10K-₹15K scheme, making it an affordable and attractive option for budget-conscious consumers.
Specifications of the Galaxy F15
The Galaxy F14 5G boasts an appealing aesthetic with a flat back, curved edges, and double rear camera cutouts neatly aligned in a vertical array. Also, conforming to the familiar Samsung form factor, the power and volume buttons are conveniently placed on the right-hand side for easy access, the SIM tray sits snugly on the left side, and the side bezels have been adequately sized.
The Flipkart listing reveals the upcoming Galaxy F14 5G will offer a 6.6-inch screen with Full HD+ resolution and a 6,000mAh power cell supported by 25W fast charging technology.
Flipkart also reveals that the device is equipped with support for thirteen 5G bands. It runs Android 13 with One UI 5.0, and two major OS updates, alongside four years of security updates, are guaranteed. Though the chipset has not been specified, it is said to be based on a 5nm node. Recent leaks about the yet-to-be-released smartphone suggest it will come equipped with an octa-core chipset, with two cores clocked at 2.4GHz and six at 2.0GHz.
Additionally, rumors have identified the Exynos 1330 as the chipset powering the F14 5G. The Exynos 1330 is already being utilized in the Galaxy M14 5G and Galaxy A14 5G. Furthermore, the F14 should also come equipped with a 50MP primary camera at the rear, a 13MP front-facing camera, a side-mounted fingerprint detector, dual-SIM capabilities, Wi-Fi 5, NFC, and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, as well as a USB-C port and a 3.5mm audio connector.
