A couple of months ago, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy A15 5G and the Galaxy A25 5G. Both smartphones feature Samsung's new design language for 2024. Now, the company is planning to launch an even more affordable version of the Galaxy A15 5G, which could be called the Galaxy F15 5G.
Galaxy F15 5G could debut in India soon
Samsung's website for the Indian market has listed a support webpage for an unannounced device (via 91Mobiles) with model number SM-E156B/DS. Going by the company's naming scheme, the phone could be launched as the Galaxy F15 5G. The upcoming smartphone could be launched in India and some neighboring countries in the coming weeks. Usually, Galaxy F series phones have slightly less flashy designs and bigger batteries compared to their Galaxy A series siblings.
What should you expect from Galaxy F15 5G specifications?
While no details of the Galaxy F15 5G have been listed on the webpage, it is not too hard to imagine that its specifications could be similar to that of the Galaxy A15 5G. In that case, we can expect the smartphone to feature a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate, a 50MP primary rear camera, a 5MP ultrawide camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 13MP selfie camera. Being an F series phone, it could have a 6,000mAh battery.
The MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor powers the Galaxy A15 5G and has 4GB/6GB/8GB RAM, 128GB/256GB storage, and a microSD card slot. A similar internal hardware setup can be expected from the Galaxy F15 5G. We can also expect the phone to feature 5G, dual-SIM card slot, GPS, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone port. It could be priced lower than the Galaxy A15 5G.
