Samsung has released the feature-rich One UI 6.1 update to the Galaxy F23 in India. The update brings several new features to the mid-range smartphone, but it doesn't include any of the Galaxy AI-powered features to the device. Those features are reserved for high-end phones.
Galaxy F23 gets One UI 6.1 update in India
The One UI 6.1 update for the Galaxy F23 is now available in India. The update comes with firmware version E236BXXU6EXE5 and includes the May 2024 security patch that fixes 45 security shortcomings. It is a huge update with a download size of around 2.2GB, so make sure you download the update on a Wi-Fi network if you don't want to deplete your cellular data limit.
If you have a Galaxy F23 and live in India, you can now check for the One UI 6.1 update on your device. You can do that by navigating to Settings » Software update » Download and install. You can also wait for the new firmware to hit our database and then flash it manually using a Windows PC and the Odin tool.

Samsung launched the Galaxy F23 in early 2022 with Android 12 onboard. It received the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update in late 2022 and the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update in late 2023. It will likely get the Android 15-based One UI 7.0 update later this year.
