Samsung has launched the Galaxy F34 5G in India. The new mid-range smartphone is a rebadged version of the Galaxy M34 5G that was launched in the country a few days ago. This phone has a 120Hz OLED screen, a 50MP OIS camera, and a 6,000mAh battery.

The Galaxy F34 5G is priced at INR 18,999 (around $229) for the 6GB RAM version and INR 20,999 for the 8GB RAM version.
You can buy the Galaxy F34 5G from Flipkart and Samsung.com. Samsung is offering a 10% instant discount when the phone is purchased using an ICICI Bank credit or debit card. Similarly, if an HDFC Bank card is used, the instant discount is INR 2,000 (around $24). An extra INR 1,000 discount is being offered through cashback or coupon.

The Galaxy F34 5G features a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U screen with Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The display has a U-shaped notch that feels dated now compared to other phones in the same price segment that feature a punch-hole-shaped display cutout for the selfie camera. The screen has the Vision Booster technology, capable of offering up to 1,000 nits peak brightness.
Samsung has equipped the Galaxy F34 5G with a 50MP primary rear camera with OIS, capable of recording up to 4K 30fps videos. There are two other cameras on the rear: an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera. The Galaxy F34 5G has a 13MP selfie camera with 4K 30fps video recording on the front. The phone features Nightography for better images in low-light conditions. It also has the Single Take mode.
The Galaxy F34 5G has the Exynos 1280 processor, 6GB/8GB RAM, 128GB internal storage, and a microSD card slot. The phone runs Android 13 out of the box, and Samsung has promised to offer up to four major Android OS updates and five years of security updates. Other features include Samsung Knox, Samsung Wallet, and Voice Focus. It is powered by a 6,000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging.
Connectivity features of the Galaxy F34 5G include GPS, 5G (11 bands), dual-SIM card slot, Wi-Fi 5, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, USB 2.0 Type-C port, and a 3,5mm headphone jack. Samsung offers the Galaxy F34 5G in Electric Black and Mystic Green colors. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint reader. While the phone lacks stereo speakers, it has support for Dolby Atmos.
