Samsung has released its latest security patch to the Galaxy F41. The new update is currently rolling out in India, and it could reach other markets soon. The Galaxy F41 was launched in the second half of 2020 with Android 10 onboard.
The latest software update for the Galaxy F41 comes with firmware version F415FXXS1BUK2. The December 2021 security patch included in the update fixes dozens of privacy and security-related vulnerabilities. It could also include device stability improvements and general bug fixes.
If you are a Galaxy F41 user in India, you might have already received a notification of the new security update. If you haven't received it yet, you can check for it manually by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.
Samsung had released the Android 11-based One UI 3.1 update to the Galaxy F41 earlier this year. The smartphone is expected to get the Android 12-based One UI 4 update in the first half of next year.
