Samsung has finally launched the Galaxy F54 5G in India. It is a modified version of the Galaxy A54 5G, and it cuts down on some premium features to offer a higher resolution camera and a bigger battery at a lower price point. The Galaxy F54 5G is priced at INR 27,999 (including discount from select banks), and it will be available via Flipkart and Samsung.
Galaxy F54 5G features, specifications
The Galaxy F54 5G features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED+ screen with Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and Vision Booster. The phone comes equipped with the Exynos 1380 processor, 8GB RAM, 256GB internal storage, and a hybrid microSD card slot. The device runs Android 13-based One UI 5.1 software out of the box and comes with four major Android OS updates and five years of security updates.
The phone has a 108MP primary rear-facing camera with OIS and 4K video recording at 30fps. The primary camera is paired with an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, the Galaxy F54 5G has a 32MP selfie camera with 4K 30fps video recording. It also features some high-end camera features like Astrolapse, Fun Mode, Nightography, and Single Take. It features VDIS (EIS), too, but it is unclear if it is available at 4K resolution.
The phone features a side-mounted fingerprint reader, GPS, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. Samsung has protected the front of the phone with Gorilla Glass 5. The device also features stereo speakers, a 6,000mAh battery, and 25W fast charging. Unlike the Galaxy A54 5G, the Galaxy F54 5G has a plastic back.
It lacks the IP67 rating for dust and water resistance that the Galaxy A54 5G has. The phone is available in two colors: Meteor Blue and Stardust Silver. The phone will go on pre-order at 3 PM (local time) in India.
