Galaxy F55 pricing leaks ahead of next week’s launch

Samsung had planned to launch the Galaxy F55 in India on May 17, but the launch was postponed to May 27. Ahead of the launch, the company unveiled key features of the mid-range phone.

Now, the pricing of the Galaxy F55 has leaked ahead of next week's launch.

Galaxy F55 price in India leaks

According to tipster Abhishek Yadav, the Galaxy F55's pricing in India will start at INR 26,999 for the variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Two other variants, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, will also be available. Their pricing is listed below.

  • 8GB + 128GB: INR 26,999
  • 8GB + 256GB: INR 29,999
  • 12GB + 256GB: INR 32,999

The tipster also revealed detailed specifications of the Galaxy F55. The phone will run Android 14-based One UI 6.1 out of the box. You can find some One UI 6.1 features in our video below.

Galaxy F55 features

The Galaxy F55 has a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 1,000 nits of peak brightness. It has a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor and runs Android 14. It will get four major Android OS updates and five years of security updates.

On the front, the phone has a 50MP selfie camera with 4K 30fps video recording. On the rear, it has a 50MP primary camera with OIS and 4K 30fps video recording, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera.

It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery and supports 45W fast charging. It has GPS, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. The Galaxy F55 has a faux leather back and stereo speakers. It also has an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance.
