The Galaxy F62 is getting a new update after nearly three months. The mid-range smartphone, which was released only in India, has started getting the June 2023 security update. It should improve the device's security by quite a good margin.
Galaxy F62 June 2023 security update: What's new?
The latest software update for the Galaxy F62 comes with firmware version E625FDDU4CWF1. As we mentioned earlier, the update is available in India. The update brings the June 2023 security patch that fixes over 60 security flaws found in Galaxy phones and tablets. It doesn't bring any new features or performance improvements.
If you have a Galaxy F62, you can now check for the new update on your device. To do that, navigate to Settings » Software update and tap Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually using a Windows PC and Samsung's Odin software.
Samsung launched the Galaxy F62 in India in February 2021 with Android 11 onboard. The phone received the Android 12 update later that year and the Android 13 update in late 2022. It will get the Android 14 update sometime later this year.
