Samsung's existing Galaxy Fit 2 smart band was launched back in 2020, and a successor has been long overdue. In 2022, it was revealed that Samsung is indeed working on the Galaxy Fit 3, and the images of the affordable wearable device were leaked as well. Now, some more images of the Galaxy Fit 3 have been revealed, and they were found on Samsung's website.
The new set of Galaxy Fit 3 images seems to have come from one of Samsung's regional websites, where they were uploaded ahead of the company's intended time. The Galaxy Fit 3 appears in black and orange color variants, with the case itself being silver. However, the company will sell the device in three case colors: Gray, Pink Gold, and Silver. It also appears to feature a band with a quick-release mechanism, similar to what was found on the Galaxy Watch 6 series. Samsung may sell the band in various color variants.
The 1.61-inch screen on the front appears to display various fitness and workout metrics, a list of some pre-loaded workouts, and the battery charge level. As seen from previous reports and a device of this segment, the Galaxy Fit 3 may offer a 21-day battery life under normal usage conditions and use cases. The device reportedly weighs just 21g and has a sleek design. The device could cost almost twice as much as the Galaxy Fit 2.
The Galaxy Fit 3 may run rtOS (custom software) instead of Wear OS seen on the Galaxy Watch 4 and newer smartwatches from Samsung. It might feature several workout modes, sleep tracking, heart rate tracking, and syncing with Samsung Health. It will compete with the likes of the Fitbit Charge 6 and the Xiaomi Band 8.
