Samsung has released a new software update to its original foldable phone, the Galaxy Fold. The 5G version of the smartphone is now getting the April 2022 security update.
The latest software update for the Galaxy Fold 5G comes with firmware version F907BXXS6HVC8. The update has been released in the UK, and more markets could get it within the next few days. It brings the April 2022 security patch to fix over 88 security vulnerabilities. It might also include bug fixes and device stability improvements.
If you are a Galaxy Fold 5G user in the UK, you can download the latest software update on your device by heading over to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our database and flash it manually.
The Galaxy Fold and the Galaxy Fold 5G were launched in late 2019 with Android 9. They received the Android 10 update in early 2020, the Android 11 update in early 2021, and the Android 12 update in early 2022.
